Job Description:	This position is responsible for providing effective professional guidance to all facility management on issues related to Safety, Health and Environmental, as well as, coordinating all interaction with outside safety and environmental resources in conjunction with current policies. The EHS Manager is accountable for the development, management and implementation of all Safety and Environmental regulatory programs within this state of the art, highly automated meat slicing facility to ensure maximum compliance. The incumbent also develops, implements, and coordinates policies and procedures on matters involving safety, air, water, and land conservation which are of joint concern to the Sara Lee Corporation, our community and the general public. This position is critical to the evolution and sustenance of 24/7 behavioral based safety culture within a state of the art, highly automated meat slicing facility located in Kansas City, KS.
